By chance i stopped to take a look around a rastro i spotted on the way to the beach. Turns out that its run by the Valle Verde animal rescue and is held in El parque La fuente in Salobreña on the first and third Saturday of the month.
Whilst looking around the very interesting stalls full of all sorts ornaments, antiques, brik and brack, books, tools, etc i got chatting to Mary, who turns out to be an author. You can read her autobiography here. https://www.amazon.com/-/es/stores/author/B0742MB2RG/about
Mary Mae Lewis spends half her year in the UK and the rest here in Spain, infact just down the road ish from Cadiar in a coastal town called Adra.
A very interesting and well travelled lady we soon got chatting and i discovered her passion for writing books. We have also agreed to share a stall once Mary is back in the Autumn.
Mary’s two books are available on Amazon on the link below and are called ‘Don’t stop the fiesta’ and ‘Where theres a will theres a woman.’
